Fun at first, but it shows its predatory side later. Later levels become purely money or luck based, as they randomize each time and often against your favor. You need a lot of power ups just to clear levels too, which are hard to get unless you want to pay way too much money for a couple items. The multitude of microtransactions is just ridiculous, and it gets pushed onto you a bit too much. Then the stamina system, which promotes this all even MORE and becomes too punishing. Yikes. Avoid.

Edit: I revisited this game after several years. Sadly the game still has many of the same glaring problems, some of which are endemic to the mobile game industry. Levels are randomized which means you can't iterate on a strategy for higher scores. The game starts to require power ups to get three stars on stages. Spending coins has no prompt so you often waste them by mistake. There is a fun game at the core, but ultimately is derailed by it's own design choices.

LOVE IT! I'm one of those people who downloads something for a few days and then deletes it, but Piffle has been on my phone for over a year now. There are a few ads but the are very unintrusive and they go away completely if you spend any money on the game. The art style is adorable and the challenges are interesting, there is usuallly an event going on or something too. If you are thinking about getting this game (which you are because you're reading this) just download it already.
